Okay fellow #eventprofs, let's be honest here… Some of us might not always *love* virtual events, but research tells us there is certainly a place for elements of them in the future of our industry. From sustainability to audience reach, I'm back with another two minutes of event industry insights so you don't have to look any further to find out why 🥳 This week's video: Virtual events - some of the reasons why they might be sticking around. Shout-out to Sophie Holt of Explori for her brilliant blog penmanship. #virtualevents #corporateevents #insights
I do enjoy your posts Matthew👍
Very thoughtful video Chloe Richardson - I think intelligently used and blended as part of a wider engagement strategy - virtual events are a key source of differentiation and value creation for our communities. Thanks
Love the content as usual Chloe Richardson - really insightful to me....someone within the industry trying understanding how even being at the leading player in IT Research we can evolve into the future of events. In addition it's always nice to see Gartner mentioned to help others regarding Audience reach!
Well done! I would add "convenience". It's not easy traveling and making time for everything right now. If I can click a button to attend, I probably will. Thank you for your insights!
Bitesize and informative!! Good work Chloe Richardson
😍😍🥰
Chloe Richardson Good post. Curious to how everyone feels about the efficiency. In person is “great”, but what % of time is down to social interaction that falls outside the realm of “getting to know you to figure out if I should be spending time with you”? People digitally, at least in our events, are connected based on need and interest, so there’s no need to spend X minutes/hours figuring out if you should be talking to the person you’re talking to. It’s nice to “have a chat”, but most everyone would rather spend their work time at events maximising results.
Nice presentation Chloe.

1yVery Insightful Chloe. Do you feel there is still an interest to add virtual entertainment to enhance these events?
